Patrick Earley
Manager, Policy - Trust & Safety, Wikimedia Foundation
About me
I am a Wikipedian from British Columbia, Canada. I edit the English Wikipedia under the nickname "The Interior”, where I like to tinker at articles ranging from forest fires to pop musicians. I help out with the Wikipedia Library project and try to keep an even keel as a infrequent administrator. I have studied film and library science, and occasionally worked the reference desk at the Vancouver Public Library before joining the Foundation.
My work
I am the Lead Policy Manager of the Policy sub-team of Trust & Safety at the Wikimedia Foundation. I started with the WMF as a Liaison for the VisualEditor product team in mid 2013. In April of 2014, I moved to the Community Advocacy, now Trust & Safety.
Disclaimer: I work for or provide services to the Wikimedia Foundation, and this is the account I try to use for edits or statements I make in that role. However, the Foundation does not vet all my activity, so edits, statements, or other contributions made by this account may not reflect the views of the Foundation.
